FP 20 -29 Years, Country, Terrace, Associate, and Reciprocal Members are not eligible for this benefit. However, they may play at Kingston Heath Golf Club, subject to the payment of green fees as assessed by the club.

The 16 annual Kingston Heath reciprocal games are available on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis for Full Playing 30+, Life and Honorary Life members only. As at 30 July 2024 Royal Wellington had used up their allocation of rounds. No single group of golfers is to utilise these 16 games during the same location visit. No member, during the same location visit, shall play more than one game at the same ‘Top 10’ Australian reciprocal club,
Each RECIPROCAL MEMBER may enjoy ONE (1) visitation per calendar year. The maximum number of members who may enjoy this privilege on any one day is FOUR unless approved by the Host Club. The agreement rolls over January 1 each year.
The maximum number of members who may enjoy this privilege is SIXTEEN (16)) in any one calendar year and those 16 will pay the members guest Green Fee of $135 AUD. Once the allocation is used up a green fee will apply which as from 1 May 2023 is $550 per person.

The club was founded in 1916 and the Royal Charter was conferred in 1925. Royal Hobart is recognised as Tasmania’s premier members’ Club and particular emphasis is placed on presenting the course in impeccable condition all year round. Original course designer, Vern Morcom, made best use of the natural sand base to construct over 80 fairway and greenside bunkers. These are a special feature of the course that adds an important dimension to how players of all levels approach their game. In 1997 a new course master plan was adopted to guide long term course improvements to ensure Royal Hobart continues to offer a challenging golfing experience for members and visitors alike. Subtle changes have since been introduced, but always conforming to the original design concept. Royal Hobart has hosted a number of major Championship events over the years including the Tasmanian Open, Australian Amateur, Australian Women’s Amateur and the Qantas Australian Open in 1971 which was won by the legendary Jack Nicklaus. 9 October 2024 – Members of The Royal Melbourne Golf Club and Royal Wellington Golf Club will be entitled to playing and Clubhouse privileges, subject to the respective Club rules, by-laws, dress code, policies and the conditions outlined below.
PLAYING RIGHTS AND GUEST FEES PAYABLE
A visiting reciprocal member shall be entitled to play up to two occasions per calendar year at the reciprocal club. A multiple of two times the “Member’s Guest” green fee will be applicable per round which in October 2024 was $320
PROCEDURE
Applications will be considered on the availability at the time of request. Whilst it is not possible to grant every request, all booking enquiries will be considered based on course availability.
A letter of introduction must be sent to the visiting club well in advance of the visit indicating the likely date and duration of the visit. Subject to availability, the procedure to confirm a booking will be at the respective Club’s discretion and will be advised at the time of enquiry.
COMPETITIONS
Reciprocal members may, at the discretion of the Club, take part in competitions which do not carry Honour Board or Perpetual Trophy status.
INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS
A visiting reciprocal member may introduce one guest, subject to obtaining prior approval. The international visitor green fee will be applicable. Additional guests will be subject to the approval of the Director of Golf based on course availability.
CLUBHOUSE AND PRACTICE FACILITIES
All Clubhouse and practice facilities are available to a visiting reciprocal member and their approved guests.
OTHER CONDITIONS
Reciprocal members and guests who reside in Victoria (as it relates to RMGC access) and the province of Wellington (as it relates to RWGC access) are unable to avail themselves to this agreement.

9 September 2024 – Due to ongoing renovations at New South Wales and Royal Sydney Golf Clubs, The Australian Golf Club is providing additional tee times to support those clubs. As a result, Royal Wellington Members will only be able to book reciprocal tee times at The Australian four days in advance of the desired play date. We anticipate that this situation will improve once the renovations are completed in mid 2025
Royal Wellington Members are not permitted to invite guests. Should your guests reside outside of NSW, there is an option for them to play as international/interstate visitors which the Club allows from time to time, however a letter from their home club must be received before a booking is made. The international guest rate is AUD$550.00 per player for 18-holes. There is no green fee applicable for the Royal Wellington Members except that non-playing Members may access the course for the Members Guest fee, which is currently (as of 10 May 2024) is AUD$230.00, payable at the Golf Shop upon check-in.
17 decvember – At present, and subject to availability, we are accepting limited reciprocal bookings most days, except for Wednesdays and Saturdays.

However, due to the high volume of requests we receive, we do not accept reciprocal booking requests via email, and ask all reciprocal members complete the information form on the Clubs website: Reciprocal Enquiry Form https://www.australiangolfclub.com/cms/reciprocal-member-enquiry/

Once the form is complete, a member of staff will endeavor to reply within 48 hours.
