This delightful hole dog-legs right to an elevated green. There are two key aspects to playing the hole. The tee shot must land in the left half of the fairway, which slopes from left to right, to avoid the second shot being blocked by trees. A well struck tee shot with a following wind can also find the creek at the end of the fairway. The green and its surrounds are shaped to receive (or repel) shots from the fairway, so any shot slightly short will be deflected short of the green, but the fairway to the right of the green can be used to bounce shots onto the green. A small hog’s back towards the rear of the green adds a challenge to approach shots and putting.
