The tee shot is all important on this slightly uphill par three; the green is long and the middle section is not used for pin positions, so distance control is essential. The green is guarded by bunkers on the left, the first of which is not generally in play but has a pronounced visual impact. The multi-faceted, sloping surface requires some skill in negotiating its quirks. For added difficulty, the hole often plays into the wind.
