The key to this difficult par four is the drive. The fairway narrows dramatically at one point before opening out again. A drive that hugs the left will leave the golfer with a much more achievable second shot because the green is aligned 45 degrees to the fairway. The challenge is enhanced by the single bunker that runs the length of the right side of the narrow green. A lone bunker on the left side of the green will attract some over hit shots, but might also save others from bounding into the stream beyond. The back section of the green slopes gently away, so requires some finesse to negotiate.
